In the first quarter, the State Social Protection Fund paid 561 million manats in benefits and stipends to 965 thousand people

Social indicators for the first quarter

In January–March of this year, the State Social Protection Fund under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population paid 561 million manats in benefits and Presidential monthly stipends to 965 thousand people from the state budget.

Of these:

• 318 million manats were paid as benefits to 495 thousand people,
• 204 million manats were paid as Presidential stipends to 408 thousand people,
• 39 million manats were paid as benefits from social insurance funds to 62 thousand people.

Compared to the same period last year, payments increased by 16% for benefits, 17% for stipends, and 2% for social insurance benefits.

During January–March, an additional 38 thousand benefit and stipend assignments were carried out proactively via the e-system. Since the introduction of electronic assignments in 2019, this number has reached 917 thousand.
