Sixteen percent more funds were paid for benefits and 18 percent more for Presidential benefits.
In January, the State Social Protection Fund under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population paid AZN 175 million in state budget-funded benefits and Presidential monthly benefits to 892 thousand persons.

Compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, over the past month the amount paid by the Fund for benefits increased by 16 percent, while payments for Presidential benefits increased by 18 percent.
In January alone, 16 thousand benefits were assigned proactively through the e-system. Since the introduction of the electronic social payment assignment system in 2019, a total of 895 thousand benefits have been assigned in a proactive manner.
