The President of the International Committee of Sports for the Deaf, Adam Kosa, and the President of the European Deaf Sports Organization, Iosif Stavrakakis, who are visiting our country, became acquainted with the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population.
The director of the Center, Elnara Ansari, provided the guests with information about the institution’s activities.
It was noted that the DOST Center for Inclusive Development and Creativity, which was established on the initiative of First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva and opened in 2021, carries out work toward the development of the creative potential and integration into society of people from vulnerable groups, including individuals with hearing and speech impairments.
In addition to being involved in training across 14 activity directions, the beneficiaries of the Center are also provided with socio-pedagogical and psychological support services.
A.Kosa and I.Stavrakakis observed the creative and training-coaching process at the Center and viewed handicrafts prepared by the beneficiaries together with their trainers.
