A meeting was held at the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population with Victoria Shegay, Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population of Kazakhstan.
Hidayat Abdullayev, Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population, stated that relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are based on the common historical and cultural roots of the two nations. It was emphasised that, thanks to the efforts of the heads of both states, Azerbaijan–Kazakhstan relations have continuously developed and risen to the level of strategic partnership.
It was noted that cooperation between the two countries in the fields of labour, employment, and social protection is also steadily expanding. Information was provided on the reforms carried out in recent years in Azerbaijan in the fields of labour, employment, and social protection, the DOST concept, and achievements in the digitalisation of state social services.
Victoria Shegay expressed satisfaction with the ongoing expansion of cooperation between the two countries in the social sphere. During the meeting, issues of future cooperation in the fields of labour, employment, and social protection were discussed.
