Over the past period, more than 820 beneficiaries from vulnerable groups have received services at the Center and its branches.
Today marks the fourth anniversary of the opening of the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center, operating under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population.
The Center, inaugurated on October 22, 2021, with the participation of President Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, and their daughter Leyla Aliyeva, is the first and largest inclusive creative and development space in the South Caucasus.
The DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center was established on the initiative of the First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva. The institution supports the development of the talents and skills of persons with disabilities, members of martyr families, children deprived of parental care, and other vulnerable groups, as well as their rehabilitation and integration into society.
For this purpose, creative training is organized in 14 directions (dance, fine arts, pottery, music, tailoring, carpet weaving, embroidery, wood carving, culinary arts, stage performance, etc.). In recent years, branches of the institution — which plays an important role in promoting an inclusive society — have also been established in the Ismayilli and Barda regions.
During the past period, more than 820 beneficiaries from vulnerable groups have received services at the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center and its branches.
More than 150 inclusive events have been organized with the participation of trainers and beneficiaries of the Center. The institution is also actively represented at international events. For example, the Center’s beneficiaries presented their creative works at the exposition held within the 4th Winter Olympic Games in South Korea, at the 2025 International Child Art Exchange Exhibition, at the event dedicated to World Autism Awareness Day on April 2 at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, and at the “Osaka, Kansai Expo 2025” in Japan.
Currently, 226 beneficiaries are participating in training programs in various directions at the Center and its branches. Beneficiaries also receive social-psychological support services.
