Six more citizens repatriated from Syria to our country by the Government of Azerbaijan were welcomed by the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population and placed in a social service institution.
One is a man, one is a lady, and four are children.
A social worker and a psychologist of the agency conducted a socio-psychological evaluation of each of the 6 repatriates. Based on this, an appropriate social rehabilitation plan was prepared and social rehabilitation measures were started.
Repatriates will be handed over to their relatives after being provided with social rehabilitation services at the institution.
Social-rehabilitation and reintegration measures will be continued by the relevant regional branches of the Social Services Agency in the area where the persons live, in cooperation with other relevant institutions.
The Social Services Agency has provided social rehabilitation and reintegration services to more than 550 people repatriated to our country from Iraq and Syria in recent years.
