The Social Services Agency, under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population, will launch five more social service centers this year.
Two of these centers will be in Baku, while the others will be located in Hajigabul, Goychay, and Aghdam.
At these social service centers, services such as social rehabilitation will be provided to children with disabilities and other individuals in need of social services, as well as families, by social workers, psychologists, social pedagogues, speech therapists, and active therapists.
With this, the total number of the Agency's social service centers will reach ten.
Currently, there are social service centers in Absheron, Sabunchu, Narimanov, and Yasamal, as well as a social service office in Sumgayit.
At these centers, social-psychological support services are provided to children with disabilities and other vulnerable individuals, and social activities are organized to ensure their successful integration into society.
