The State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population held the first job fair in the Kalbajar District.

Bashir Hajiyev, Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Kalbajar District, and Hasil Abbasov, Chairman of the Board of the State Employment Agency, also attended the active employment event.

At the job fair, more than 90 vacancies were offered to jobseekers by 16 enterprises representing the public and private sectors. The vacancies covered various occupations, including power engineer, senior engineer, head of service, electrical maintenance technician, welder, fuel truck driver, locksmith, confectioner, sales assistant, chef, and other professional fields.

The participants were informed about the requirements for the available jobs, and candidates matching the vacancies were registered. Citizens were also provided with information about the active employment programmes implemented by the State Employment Agency.

As part of the active employment event, a meeting was also held with employers. During the meeting, detailed information was provided about the Agency’s activities, including active employment programmes implemented in Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur, and the employers’ questions were answered.
