The final medical examination of citizens called up for compulsory military service is conducted by the State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population.
As a result of these examinations, decisions are issued under four categories:
Final medical examinations are conducted based on referrals entered into the Ministry’s “Medical Certification” subsystem by the Central Military Medical Commission, through an electronic queue system.
At the Agency’s Medical Assessment Centre, equipped with the latest medical technologies, specialised doctors conduct comprehensive examinations, including blood tests, ophthalmological, audiometry, BERA testing, spirometry, ultrasound, EEG, echocardiography, electromyography, radiology, gastroscopy, and dental examinations.
The final decision is recorded in the electronic system and the conscript is notified electronically.
