A meeting was held at the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population with a delegation from the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population Rashad Mustafayev provided information on analytical and research activities carried out in the Ministry’s fields of activity, as well as the institutional mechanisms established in this area.

Work carried out to support data-driven decision-making was also highlighted. The importance of the analyses and studies conducted in examining the current situation in the labour market, identifying future trends, organising active employment measures, and improving legislation was noted.

Vugar Ahmadov, Director General of the Central Bank, presented information on the institution’s analytical and research activities and methodological approaches in this field.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on expanding the exchange of information and experience in areas of mutual interest and on the implementation of joint analysis and research projects.
