9-month social indicators

During January–September of this year, the Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population provided 104 thousand rehabilitation aids to persons with disabilities.

Among them, 5.9 thousand were wheelchairs (including 48 motorized wheelchairs), 2 thousand were lower and upper limb prostheses, and 4.9 thousand were canes, underarm and elbow crutches.

In addition, 8.1 thousand pairs of prosthetic and orthopedic shoes, 347 hearing aids, 418 corsets, and other rehabilitation aids were delivered to persons with disabilities.

During the 9 months of the current year, 11.2 thousand persons with disabilities were provided with rehabilitation aids.
