57 employees who were unlawfully dismissed were also reinstated.
During January–June, the State Labour Inspection Service under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population identified that employers had delayed payments totalling 422,818 AZN, which were social-related payments owed to employees.
As a result of the measures taken, these funds were paid to employees by employers. Of the total amount, 92% consisted of salaries, while 8% consisted of compensation, benefits and payments for damages.
During the review of appeals, the State Labour Inspection Service also identified that the employment contracts of 57 employees had been terminated in violation of legal requirements.
As a result of measures taken in accordance with legislation, these employees were reinstated in their previous positions.
