Local branches of the Social Services Agency, operating under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population, provide home-based (mobile) social and household services to 35 families of martyrs.
These families reside in Sumqayit, Khachmaz, Guba, Shamakhi, Agsu, Hajigabul, Jalilabad, Astara, Zardab, and other cities.
Social service workers of the Agency visit the homes of the families of martyrs to assist them with household management, purchasing essential goods, and other related tasks.
During the past period of this year, the Agency has provided home-based social and household services to a total of 3,774 elderly and disabled individuals living alone.
These services are provided to elderly persons living alone, elderly couples, and persons with disabilities who are in need of social services and who do not reside in the same administrative unit as able-bodied relatives or legal representatives in Baku city, or in the same administrative district in other cities and districts.
