Social Indicators for the Eight-Month Period

A total of AZN 5.222 billion was allocated for pension payments during the first eight months of this year, which is 10 percent, or AZN 488 million, more than in the same period of last year.

Since the beginning of the current year, pensions have been increased through indexation by 9.3 percent. As of September 1, 2026, the average monthly pension amount increased by 10 percent compared to the same period last year, reaching AZN 596, while the average monthly old-age pension reached AZN 634.

During January–August, 26 thousand pensions were assigned proactively through the e-system.
