Social Indicators for the First Four Months
During January–April of this year, AZN 2 billion 608 million was allocated for pension payments, which is 10 percent (AZN 248 million) more compared to the corresponding period of last year.
The upward trend in pensions continues. Since the beginning of the current year, pensions have been increased through indexation by 9.3 percent. As of May 1, 2026, the average monthly pension amount increased by 10 percent compared to the corresponding period of last year, reaching AZN 594, while the average monthly old-age pension reached AZN 632.
During January–April, 15 thousand pension assignments were carried out proactively through the electronic system. Since the launch of the electronic pension assignment system in early 2019, the total number of such pension assignments has reached 193 thousand.
