The State Labour Inspectorate Service under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population has launched another series of awareness-raising events on occupational safety at enterprises operating in the territories liberated from occupation. The first events within this initiative were organised in the Fuzuli and Jabrayil districts.
Representatives of the Service, the Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency, the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation, and the State Employment Agency under the Ministry participated in the events.
The events covered more than 100 employees from three enterprises operating in the mentioned districts. Information was provided on occupational safety, ensuring healthy and safe working conditions, workplace certification, implementation of new state standards, decent work principles, and the main requirements of labour legislation.
