The State Labour Inspectorate Service under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population has conducted awareness-raising events on occupational safety at 33 more enterprises operating in the liberated territories.

The events, held in the Fuzuli, Jabrayil, and Zangilan districts, were attended by representatives of the Service, the Mine Action Agency, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency, the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation, and the State Employment Agency under the Ministry.

During the events, which involved more than 900 participants including employers’ representatives and employees, information was provided on the key requirements of legislation related to ensuring healthy and safe working conditions, the implementation of new state standards on occupational safety, and workplace certification procedures.

Participants were also informed about workplace safety rules, the main principles of mine safety, and methods of risk prevention.

As part of the awareness activities, participants were provided with guidebooks, brochures, and other informational materials, and their questions were answered.
