Programs aimed at ensuring the sustainable employment of residents relocated to the territories liberated from occupation are being continuously expanded, with close cooperation with employers remaining a key focus in the implementation of these programs.
This was stated at another meeting held with employers at the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Science and Education, Ministry of Defence, State Border Service, State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, Social Development Fund for Internally Displaced Persons, Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, Azerbaijan Transport and Communications Holding, Management Union of Medical Territorial Units, Mine Action Agency, Azerbaijan State Agency of Automobile Roads, Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency, Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC, Clean City OJSC, Azerishiq OJSC, Azerenergy OJSC, SOCAR, Shusha City State Reserve Administration, Restoration, Construction and Management Services in the Aghdam, Fuzuli and Khojavend districts; Jabrayil, Gubadli and Zangilan districts; Lachin district; Khankendi city, Aghdara and Khojaly districts; Kalbajar district, as well as representatives of “North West Construction” LLC and “AZVIRT” LLC.
Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population Vusal Nasirli highlighted the work being carried out to ensure employment for citizens relocated to the liberated regions. It was noted that meetings are held with these citizens prior to relocation to assess employment opportunities, and that after relocation they are involved in employment programs such as job placement, self-employment programs, vocational training, and others.
The meeting also discussed the work already carried out to ensure employment for citizens settled and planned to be settled in the liberated regions, as well as the tasks ahead in this area.
