The "Karabakh SMEs" initiative, which has been operating for 4 years with the support of the State Employment Agency, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMEDA), and the "Development Corporation" CJSC affiliated with the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, as well as financial assistance from "Pasha Holding," is ongoing this year.

The aim of the project is to support the development of entrepreneurial skills of members of martyr families, war veterans or their family members, improve their material and social well-being, and create new businesses and jobs in their areas of residence.

Another 55 participants selected from Baku and Ganja cities, Absheron, Shamkir and Fuzuli regions were involved in the training process under the project.

Functional training sessions were conducted for participants on human resources and financial management, sales, business plan development, marketing, social media marketing, and entrepreneurship. Subsequently, the chosen individuals will participate in vocational training.

Participants will be involved in the self-employment program of the State Employment Agency in the next stage. It is intended that they will be provided with appropriate equipment and create small and medium-sized businesses in accordance with the business plans they submit.
