Within the framework of cooperation between the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population and the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA), the next vocational training course in the speciality of “Life Safety Engineering” has commenced.
Forty unemployed individuals have been enrolled in the course. Specialised training sessions are organised by ANAMA for the participants in the fields of “Humanitarian Demining” and “Battle Area Clearance.” During the training, participants are provided with detailed information on mine risk awareness, operational procedures, and safety standards.
The trainees acquire both theoretical and practical knowledge regarding technical standards and safety requirements, risk management, fundamentals of first aid, evacuation of casualties, as well as occupational and operational safety regulations in production and field environments.
It should be noted that, within the framework of cooperation between ANAMA and the State Employment Agency, a total of 331 individuals have participated in the courses organised to date.
Individuals who successfully complete the courses take part in humanitarian demining activities carried out in the territories liberated from occupation, contributing to operations aimed at clearing the areas of mines and other explosive ordnance.
