As part of the ongoing measures to provide housing for families of martyrs and persons with war-related disabilities, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population has handed over 25 apartments to citizens in this category in the Tartar district.
At the handover ceremony held at the newly constructed residential building in Tartar, Nihad Mukhtarly, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Ministry, emphasised that families of martyrs and persons with war-related disabilities are covered by comprehensive social support measures.
It was noted that following the historic Victory of the Azerbaijani Army in the Patriotic War under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, the housing provision programme for families of martyrs and persons with war-related disabilities has been expanded fivefold by presidential instruction. In the post-war period, nearly 7,300 apartments have been provided to citizens in this category, and over the years, more than 16,000 apartments and individual houses have been allocated in total.
The event also highlighted efforts to increase social payments and provide additional support measures to families of martyrs and persons with war-related disabilities.
The beneficiaries of the new apartments expressed their deep gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for the attention and care shown to them, particularly for receiving new housing.
