An exhibition of handicrafts created by individuals from vulnerable groups was organized at the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan within the framework of cooperation with the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population, on the occasion of the “Year of Constitution and Sovereignty.”
The exhibition showcased about 80 handicraft works created by trainers and beneficiaries of the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center operating under the Ministry. The works, designed in the spirit of national statehood, reflected values such as rule of law, sovereignty, patriotism, and human rights.
Head of the Administration of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Javid Huseynov, stated that following President Ilham Aliyev’s declaration of 2025 as the “Year of Constitution and Sovereignty,” the Supreme Court has implemented a series of activities in this direction, which continue to this day. This exhibition, held as part of those activities, is a manifestation of the importance attached to the human factor—one of the key values of a legal state.
It was emphasized that such initiatives are consistently supported by the judicial authority.
Head of the Administration of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population, Fuad Musayev, in his speech, spoke about the activities of the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center established on the initiative of First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva. Highlighting the Center’s role in the development of an inclusive society, Fuad Musayev noted that this exhibition also contributes to the “Year of Constitution and Sovereignty.”
The works presented were characterized not only as examples of creativity but also as symbols of perseverance and professionalism.
Later, employees of the Supreme Court, volunteers, students, and other attendees got acquainted with the exhibition.
As part of the event, the Supreme Court also organized a seminar on “The Rights of Persons with Disabilities” for young people engaged in the Center through the “Inclusive DOST” subprogram of the “Volunteer DOST” program.
