An event titled “In the Light of Victory” dedicated to the 5th anniversary of our historic Victory was held at the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population.
Organized within the framework of the “Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty,” the event was attended by government officials, members of parliament, family members of martyrs, war veterans, and representatives of the arts community.
Before the official part of the event, participants viewed handicrafts prepared in the Center’s various studios, dedicated to the “Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty.”
Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population Anar Aliyev emphasized that the glorious historic Victory achieved by the Azerbaijani Army under the leadership of President, Victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, remains an eternal source of pride for the Azerbaijani people. The Minister provided information on the extensive social support measures implemented for the families of martyrs and war participants. He also highlighted the important role of the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center—established on the initiative of First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva—in promoting the development of an inclusive society, as well as in nurturing and showcasing the talents and abilities of persons with disabilities and other vulnerable groups.
It was noted that the “In the Light of Victory” inclusive project aims to reveal and present to society the creative potential of talented individuals from vulnerable groups at the Center.
Following the speeches, a concert program dedicated to Victory was presented, featuring performances by the Center’s trainers and beneficiaries, well-known artists, and accompanied by the Inclusive Ensemble.
Performances by members of the Center from vulnerable groups, who shared the stage with honoured artists Sevda Alekberzade, Nurlan Novresli, Emil Afrasiyab, Abbas Bagirov, Eurovision representative Elnur Huseynov, Mugham TV Contest winner Mirelem Mirelemov, and singer Murad Arif, were met with great interest and admiration from the audience.
