This year, an additional 71 individuals have been admitted to the Vocational and Labour Rehabilitation Centre for persons with disabilities under the Social Services Agency of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population.
Currently, 110 individuals are provided with vocational and social rehabilitation services at the institution.
Of them:
• 52 individuals are acquiring knowledge and skills through preparatory courses in various professions.
• 15 individuals are receiving social rehabilitation services.
• 43 individuals are participating in various trainings and improving their skills in boccia and other sports.
Those admitted to the centre are also provided with accommodation and meals at the expense of the state.
Young people engaged in vocational and social rehabilitation services at the centre are also sent to relevant vocational clubs and internship programmes in other countries.
Last year, an additional 21 young people from the centre were involved in such programmes.
