Within the framework of the “Employment Support Project” implemented by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population with financial support from the World Bank, an additional 250 beneficiaries who have established small businesses will be provided with further support this year to expand their businesses.
For this purpose, the next “Incentive Awards” competition will be held. As part of the competition, individuals who have established small businesses in the fields of production and services through the purchase of equipment under the Project and who meet the competition requirements will be selected.
They will be supported in the preparation of their business plans by the State Employment Agency under the Ministry, as well as by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency. Subsequently, they will be provided with additional equipment to expand their businesses.
It should be noted that during the previous period, support was provided to ensure the self-employment of 26 thousand unemployed persons under the “Employment Support Project.” Participants who won the “Incentive Awards” competitions were provided with additional equipment.
At the same time, a new initiative has recently been launched to support beneficiaries who hire employees for the small businesses they established under the Project.
