In some cases, it becomes necessary for an employee to perform the labour functions of another employee. The performance of the labour function of an employee who is temporarily absent from work for a certain reason by another employee is allowed with the agreement of both the employee and the employer.
An employee who, in addition to performing their own labour function, replaces another employee temporarily absent from work is paid the difference between the replaced employee’s tariff (position) salary and their own salary.
If the tariff (position) salary of the replaced employee is equal to or lower than the salary of the replacing employee, an additional payment is determined and paid to the employee. The amount of this additional payment is established through mutual agreement between the employee and the employer.
The assignment of labour functions for a vacant position is also allowed with the employee’s consent. If the employee simultaneously performs both their own labour functions and those of the vacant position, an additional payment of not less than half of the salary intended for the vacant position is paid to them.
