Social indicators for January
In January of this year, the "Volunteer DOST" program, which plays a significant role in expanding the volunteer movement in our country, received 2,9 thousand applications, and 127 individuals were recruited into the program.
The majority of applications were for the "Young DOST" subprogram.
Overall, the "Volunteer DOST" program includes subprograms such as "Young DOST," "Silver DOST," "Distant DOST," "Corporate DOST," and "Inclusive DOST."
Those recruited into the program assist in tasks such as greeting citizens at DOST centers, directing them to service windows, managing citizen flow, providing information to citizens, and more.
Volunteering also provides participants with valuable experience in their service areas, helps them develop business skills, and offers opportunities for personal growth, enabling them to take their first successful steps on their career path.
