According to a new Decree of President Ilham Aliyev, among the young people awarded the 2026 Presidential Award for Youth is Samad Novruzov, a trainer at the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Centre and a performer with a second-degree visual impairment.

A graduate of the Uzeyir Hajibeyli Baku Music Academy, Samad Novruzov improved his vocal skills from late August to early November last year at the European Academy in Florence, Italy, within the framework of a project implemented by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

The talented young performer, a laureate of national and international competitions, has been working as a trainer in the Centre’s Collective Creativity Department since 2024. He actively participates in the Centre’s concert programmes, as well as in various events and projects.

We congratulate Samad Novruzov and, through him, all young people awarded the Presidential Award for Youth, and wish them continued success in their future activities.
