The creation of the DOST services network in the regions, the reception of citizens, consideration of their applications and the work done in other directions, and the tasks ahead were discussed at the collegium meeting held at the Ministry.
Currently, work is being continued to open DOST centers in Nakhchivan, Barda, Shusha, Guba, Sabirabad, Sumgait, Ganja, and Masalli. This was announced at the board meeting held at the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Sahil Babayev noted that the DOST Agency and 6 DOST centers were opened in May 2019 as one of the achievements of President Ilham Aliyev's successful social reform program, and 1.5 million citizens were served in these centers in the past period.
It was reported that 154 services are provided from "one window", operative and transparent in social fields, on a modern basis in the DOST centers, which were the initiative of the First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva, and the citizen satisfaction with these services is 98.5 percent. It was emphasized that the practice of DOST is recognized as one of the world's leading practices and has been awarded with 9 international awards, and many countries are currently interested in applying this practice.
It was noted that the first "Smart DOST" service point was opened in Agalı village of Zangilan in May of last year as the first step towards covering our liberated regions with DOST services. According to the Action Plan of the First State Program on the Great Return, DOST services infrastructure will be built in Jabrayil, Aghdam, Fuzuli, Zangilan, Gubadli, Kalbajar, Lachin, Shusha in 2023-2026.
At the meeting, it was brought to attention that 516,133 citizens were received by the Ministry and its institutions in the first quarter of this year, 30,683 of them were received by the heads of the Ministry's Office, institutions, and local units, and the rest were received in the reception rooms and DOST centers of the Ministry's Office and institutions, local units. 108,704 written and e-rules, 438,718 through 142 Call Centers, and 35,068 through social networks were answered during that period.
The creation of a network of DOST services in the regions, reception of citizens, review of their applications, internal control and audit, civil service, personnel issues, work done in other areas and upcoming tasks were discussed at the meeting.
It was decided to review the prepared passports of the services provided by the Ministry and approve them by the Board, to amend a number of Unified Tariff-Specialization Inquiry Booklets.
