A meeting was held at the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population with the delegation led by Ahmet Aydin, Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Security of the Republic of Türkiye.
The delegation is visiting Azerbaijan to participate in the international conference “SocGov 2025: Artificial Intelligence for Humanity and Transformation,” organized by the DOST Agency under the Ministry.
Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population Anar Aliyev emphasized that, thanks to the efforts of President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Türkiye, relations between the two countries have continuously developed and reached the level of strategic alliance, with successful cooperation also taking place in the social sphere.
It was noted that the 12th meeting of the Joint Permanent Commission between the two ministries, held in Ankara in September 2025, created favourable conditions for further expanding cooperation. The meeting also highlighted the achievements of recent social reforms in Azerbaijan, the DOST concept, and the broad application of digital solutions in the social sphere.
Ahmet Aydin expressed satisfaction with the steady development of bilateral cooperation and noted that efforts to expand relations will continue in the future. During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on future cooperation between the two ministries and the importance of the international conference “SocGov 2025: Artificial Intelligence for Humanity and Transformation.”
