So far, 130 residents resettled in Khojaly have established small family farms within the self-employment program.
The State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population organized a media tour to small farms established in Khojaly District as part of the self-employment program.
Participants of the media tour were informed about active employment programs implemented by the Agency for residents resettled in the liberated territories.
It was noted that nearly 6,360 residents have been provided with employment through these measures, including 518 people who established small farms under the self-employment program.
In addition, 294 residents who returned to their native lands have been enrolled in vocational training courses aligned with labour market demands. Work is ongoing to ensure employment for another 535 residents resettled in the liberated territories.
Media representatives first visited the farm of Elbrus Abbasov, a resident of Khanyurdu village in Khojaly District, who established a sheep-breeding farm using assets provided through the self-employment program.
Next, journalists visited Rasim Aliyev, a resident of Ballica village, who created a small car-cleaning business with the support of the self-employment program.
The media tour also included the apiary established by Gulsan Javadova, a resident of Khojaly city, using assets provided within the program.
It was emphasized that 130 residents resettled in Khojaly have already been provided with assets under the self-employment program to create small family farms.
The program participants expressed pride in being able to work in their native lands and noted that they constantly feel the support of the state. They expressed their deep gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for the support that enabled them to establish their own family farms.
