Social Indicators for the eight-month period
A total of 66 million medical services were provided at public healthcare institutions under compulsory health insurance by the State Health Insurance and Expertise Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population in January–August this year.
Of these services, 88 percent were outpatient services and 12 percent were inpatient services.
During the eight-month period, more than 4.4 million people made 17.7 million visits to public healthcare institutions. Nearly 1.4 million of them were children.
In January–August 2026, compared with the same period of the previous year, the number of patients increased by 3.1 percent, the number of visits by 7.9 percent, and the number of medical services provided by 9 percent.
