First half-year social indicators

During the first half of this year, the Volunteer DOST programme received 20 thousand applications, with 776 individuals admitted to the programme.

As one of Azerbaijan’s leading volunteer initiatives, the programme operates through several sub-programmes, including Young DOST, Silver DOST (for older adults), Distance DOST, Corporate DOST, Inclusive DOST, DigiDOST, and TeleDOST.

Volunteers assist visitors at DOST centres by welcoming citizens, directing them to service desks, managing visitor flow and queues, providing information, and helping them use electronic systems.

They contribute to the delivery of state social services through the one-stop-shop model based on citizen satisfaction.

The programme also helps participants gain practical experience in public service, develop professional skills, and take their first successful steps in their careers.
