This year, 39 individuals were admitted to the Shelter and Social Rehabilitation Facility for vulnerable groups of the population, operated by the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population.
These individuals were placed in the relevant departments of the facility according to their age groups.
Some of them already completed the social rehabilitation course at the facility. Currently, 70 individuals, including 26 women and 44 men are receiving inpatient rehabilitation-oriented social services. Among them, 18 are children.
The facility provides social rehabilitation for minors who are neglected, homeless, in socially dangerous situations, individuals over the age of 18 with no permanent residence, persons with limited vision, and others.
In addition to social, household, and social-legal services, they are provided with daily meals, snacks, accommodation, and clothing based on nutritional norms.
Admission to the facility is made based on the application of the individual or their legal representative, as well as referrals from the internal affairs, local executive authorities, and municipalities through the Agency's local branches or DOST centers.
