Social Indicators for the eight-month period

A total of 5.222 billion AZN was allocated for pension payments during the first eight months of this year, which is 10 percent, or 488 million AZN, more than in the same period of last year.

Since the beginning of the current year, pensions have been increased through indexation by 9.3 percent. As of September 1, 2026, the average monthly pension amount increased by 10 percent compared to the same period last year, reaching 596 AZN, while the average monthly old-age pension reached 634 AZN.

During January–August, 26 thousand pensions were assigned proactively through the e-system.
