Social Indicators for the Eight-Month Period meanwhile, 65 employees who had been unlawfully dismissed were reinstated in their previous jobs.
The State Labour Inspectorate Service under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population identified, during the January–August period, delays by employers in the payment of AZN 517,139 in social-related payments to employees.
As a result of the measures taken, the relevant funds were paid to the employees by their employers. Of this amount, 90 percent consisted of wages, while the remaining 10 percent comprised payments for damages, allowances, and compensations.
During the investigation of applications, the State Labour Inspectorate Service also determined that the employment contracts of 65 employees had been terminated in violation of legislative requirements. As a result of the measures taken by the Service in accordance with the legislation, these employees were reinstated in their previous positions.
