The State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population continues cooperation with the Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) in organizing joint vocational training courses.
Within this cooperation, a new training course on “Safety Engineering of Life Activity” has commenced, involving 48 trainees.
ANAMA has conducted “Humanitarian Demining” and “Battle Area Clearance” trainings for the new trainees who are expected to participate in humanitarian demining operations.
During the course, held in parallel with these trainings, participants received instruction on technical standards and safety, fundamentals of first aid, evacuation of the injured, hazard management, and technical safety rules.
As a result, the number of trainees involved in courses organized under the cooperation between ANAMA and the State Employment Agency has reached 291.
Those who complete the courses now participate in humanitarian demining operations in the liberated territories, contributing to the clearance of mines and other explosive ordnance.
