A job fair was organized in Baku by the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population and the Yasamal District Executive Authority.
The event was attended by Elshad Hasanov, the head of the Yasamal District Executive Authority, Sadig Aliyev, the Chairman of the Board of the State Employment Agency, and employers from both the public and private sectors.
They got acquainted with the employers and expressed interest in the presented vacancies. Employers provided information about the areas of activity of their companies, priority criteria in employee selection, and the recruitment process for vacancies.
At the active employment event, more than 450 vacancies were presented by 59 employers from various sectors.
Job seekers and those looking for work were informed about the job responsibilities related to the vacancies, and their CVs were accepted, with suitable candidates being registered. The participants also had the opportunity to learn about the active employment measures carried out by the Agency.
It is worth noting that the State Employment Agency plans to organize 150 employment fairs in the capital and regions this year, with nearly 35 fairs already held.
