Under the leadership of President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, the implementation of the large-scale social support package for members of martyrs' families and war participants, which was implemented on the instructions of the head of state after the 44-day Patriotic War, in which the Azerbaijani Army achieved a magnificent Victory, is successfully continuing.
Within the framework of that social support package, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population in the post-war period:
• 119 thousand monthly social payments were assigned to 106 thousand people who were members of martyrs' families and war veterans, and one-time payments were assigned to 24,7 thousand people;
• The program for providing housing to families of martyrs and persons disabled in war has been expanded fivehold, providing them with 6,8 thousand apartments and individual houses, and 567 cars to individuals with war-related disabilities;
• 75 thousand socio-psychological support and rehabilitation services have been provided to 11 thousand people who are members of families of martyrs and participants in the war;
• 2291 people disabled in the war have been provided with 68 thousand rehabilitation tools, including 491 people with 608 high-tech modern prostheses;
• 26 thousand people who are members of martyrs’ families and war participants have been provided with employment, including 12,4 thousand people involved in the self-employment program.
In total, the social support package mentioned in the post-war period covered 131 thousand people, and 378 thousand support-oriented services have been provided to them.
