Social Indicators for the Eight-Month Period

The State Medical and Expertise Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population granted disability status to 35,300 people during January–August this year.

Of them, 14,700 people were granted disability status for the first time, while 20,600 people underwent a reassessment of their disability status.

Disability assessment is carried out through an electronic system based on the information contained in referrals submitted to the e-system by medical institutions.

Following the granting of disability status, social payments related to disability are assigned proactively through the e-system.
