Based on projects implemented by the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population, 30 daycare centers have been established in the regions of our country.
In the cities of Sumgayit, Mingachevir and Naftalan and in the regions of Absheron, Jalilabad, Agdash, Khachmaz, Aghstafa, Yardimli, Masalli, Samukh, Goranboy, Lankaran, Barda, Shamkir, Zagatala, Guba, Sheki, Ujar, Goychay, Sabirabad, Shirvan, Hajigabul, Astara, Agsu, Ismayilli, Gabala, Tovuz, Gakh, Beylagan, the daycare centers, which have started operating, provide correction, habilitation, rehabilitation, etc. services and psychological support to vulnerable groups, including children with disabilities.
In total, it is planned to cover 900 children with the services of these centers, and to carry out work to increase their self-service skills and develop their imagination through various associations.
The activities of daycare centers are aimed at preventing children from being placed in state children's institutions and ensuring access to social services for children and families in difficult life situations.
