In the period following the 44-day Patriotic War, which ended with our Great Victory, one of the main directions of the large-scale social support package implemented for members of martyrs’ families and war participants, in line with the instructions of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, has been ensuring their employment.
In the post-war period, 29 thousand people belonging to these categories were involved in employment measures by the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population.
Of them, small businesses were established for 13.5 thousand people within the framework of the self-employment program, while 14.1 thousand people were provided with suitable jobs.
In addition, vocational training courses aligned with labour market demands were organized for 1.4 thousand members of martyrs’ families and war participants involved in employment measures.
