The Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population has provided social rehabilitation services to 68 individuals affected by domestic violence this year. Among them, 23 are women and 45 are children.
These individuals received rehabilitation services at the Social Rehabilitation Department for Victims of Domestic Violence, which has been operating within the Agency’s institution since 2021.
In total, 276 people have benefited from rehabilitation services at this department to date. Individual work plans have been implemented to support their social rehabilitation and restoration of social status.
The department is equipped with modern facilities, offering residents social-household, socio-economic, socio-psychological, medical-social, and social-consultative assistance, as well as organising leisure activities and related support.
