The DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population provides services to vulnerable groups, including persons with disabilities.
Established on the initiative of First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, the Center supports the development and public presentation of the creative potential of these sensitive groups. Currently, 235 persons with disabilities are improving their skills through training programs and benefiting from socio-psychological and pedagogical support services at the Center and its branches.
Two young members of the Center have been awarded the Presidential Prize. More than ten young persons with disabilities who successfully completed creative training at the Center were admitted to higher, secondary specialized, and vocational education institutions.
Additionally, more than ten beneficiaries of the Center, who are persons with disabilities, work as trainers or in other positions at the Center and its branches, contributing to the development of an inclusive society.
Beneficiaries of the Center showcase their talents and present their handicrafts at national and international events.
