In the first quarter of this year, the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population provided social rehabilitation services to 21 individuals affected by domestic violence.
These individuals were offered rehabilitation services at the Domestic Violence Rehabilitation Department, located in the Agency's relevant facility, which has been operational since 2021.
Over the past period, 230 individuals had received rehabilitation services at the department. Measures had been taken according to individual action plans to restore their social status and support their social rehabilitation.
The department, which is equipped with modern standards, provides residents with services such as social and household support, socio-economic, social-psychological, medical-social, and social counseling assistance. Efforts are also made in organizing their leisure time and other related areas.
