Under the "Employment Support Project," implemented by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population with financial support from the World Bank, 22500 unemployed individuals have been provided with assets to help them establish small businesses.
This project, which plays a key role in expanding the Self-Employment Program, covers the period from 2020 to 2025.
The aim of the project is to create opportunities for unemployed individuals from vulnerable groups, including people with disabilities, family members of martyrs, members of low-income families, and other vulnerable groups, to access small businesses in the production and service sectors.
As part of the successful implementation of the project, which is expected to reach 22000 unemployed individuals, the target for this year is to increase the number to 25000.
