The Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population provides social services to 214 older persons at its social service institution for older persons. Of them, 110 are men and 104 are women.

Social work is carried out with the residents, along with measures to support their social rehabilitation. The older persons receive social and domestic, medical and social, social and psychological, social and legal, and social and cultural services.

The social services provided at the institution go beyond daily care. Various activities are organized to ensure that the older residents spend their leisure time meaningfully and actively. These include cultural activities, excursions to cultural and recreational centers, walks, and other leisure activities.

The residents are also given opportunities to take part in various sports competitions, gymnastics sessions, and creative activities.
