Social indicators for 2025
In 2025, the State Medical and Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population provided 212 thousand rehabilitation aids to persons with disabilities.
Of these, 6.3 thousand were wheelchairs (including 186 motorized wheelchairs), 2.6 thousand were lower and upper limb prostheses, and 6.5 thousand were canes, crutches, and forearm supports.
In addition, persons with disabilities were provided with 11 thousand pairs and half-pairs of prosthetic and orthopedic footwear, 1,039 hearing aids, 547 corsets, and other rehabilitation aids.
Overall, in 2025, 13.7 thousand persons with disabilities were supplied with rehabilitation aids.
