A total of 1,650 individuals have been enrolled in vocational training courses at the Karabakh Vocational Training Center, operated by the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population.
Approximately 600 of them are residents of territories liberated from occupation.
The Center, inaugurated in August 2023 with the participation of President Ilham Aliyev, is located in the city of Barda. It includes 7 workshops, 8 classrooms and instruction rooms, a Vocational Guidance and Career Planning Center, as well as administrative and technical facilities. The Center offers training opportunities in 48 vocational fields, including tailoring, sewing, design, cooking, waiting services, hairdressing, makeup artistry, locksmithing, carpentry, lathe operation, woodworking, furniture making, painting, welding, information technology, and others.
Currently, around 70 individuals are undergoing vocational training at the Center. Support is also provided to ensure employment opportunities for those who successfully complete the courses.
