10-month social indicators

In January–October of this year, the State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population provided 111 thousand rehabilitation devices to persons with disabilities.

These included 6,1 thousand wheelchairs (170 of which were motorized wheelchairs), 2,1 thousand lower and upper limb prostheses, and 5,4 thousand canes, crutches and elbow crutches.

Additionally, 9,1 thousand pairs and half-pairs of orthopedic shoes, 347 hearing aids, 467 corsets and other rehabilitation devices were provided.

During the first 10 months of the year, 12 thousand persons with disabilities were supplied with rehabilitation devices.
